Shipping and Returns


If you order more than one item, they may be shipped from different locations in our warehouses in China, and so they may come in different packages at different times. Shipping times do vary, especially during busy periods.

  • Typical delivery time: 20 - 40 working days. Can increase to 60 days during busy periods or during unexpected circumstances - such as a global pandemic!

Buyers are responsible for local custom duties and taxes at delivery in countries where applicable.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages or packages delayed by the carrier.

The time frame for order delivery is divided into two parts: 

Processing time: Order verification, tailoring, quality check and packaging.

We aim to process, pack and ship your order within 7- 10 working days. 

Shipping time: This refers to the time it takes for your order to be shipped from our manufacturing warehouses in China to its destination: you. 
Shipping to the US, Canada, Australia and Europe usually takes up to 40 working days. Shipping to countries outside of these zones can take up to 50 working days. Orders can take longer to arrive during busy periods, or may be delayed at customs in your country. 
PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT GUARANTEE DELIVERY TIMES. Please do not request a refund whilst your order is in transit. If you are concerned, please email us and we will do our best to resolve your query. 
During Chinese New Year which takes place every year, from February 11th - 25th, please allow 3-5 weeks in shipping time.

You will receive a tracking number once your order has been shipped and you can oversee your delivery's journey via our TRACKING page, by inputting your order number and email address. Please contact us immediately if you are unable to track your parcel. If the carrier loses your order, we will assist you in every way and be sure to come to a suitable agreement.

Some items may arrive more quickly than others, as your order may well be shipped in different packages. Parcels may experience shipping delays due to customs security checks. However do not worry, you can always contact us if you are unable to track the progress of your order and we will help you out. 


Our returns policy is valid for 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your order arrived, we cannot offer you a refund. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.  
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. You must include your receipt in the return package, with the item you wish to return specified. If your package did not come with a hard copy of your receipt, please print out your order confirmation email and include this.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your exchange.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Orders placed cannot be cancelled. You are at liberty to return the items once they have arrived, in the original new condition. 

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Sale items can be refunded for the item's sale price only, as long as they are unworn with labels and tags intact.


We only offer refunds, unfortunately exchanges are not accepted.


If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that the returned item is shipped to the correct address. Mercury Girl is not responsible for return shipping delays or losses caused by Buyer or Carrier / Postal Service errors.
